EDU-TEW2 Teacher Education Workshop 2: Application for Practicum I
In this workshop, students learn about applying for a Practicum I placement for their Teacher Education Program. Students must have a passing score on the PRAXIS I or CORE examination or an equivalent SAT or ACT score in order to pass this course and enroll in Practicum I. You must also hold a cumulative GPA of 2.75 and suitable grades in all courses as determined by your program. You should complete the Application for a Teacher Education Program including an Entry Interview with the Program Director before attending the workshop. You must attend this workshop the semester before you wish to enroll in Practicum I, typically while enrolled in EDU-2370, The Contemporary School: Register a semester in advance of attending. TEW2 is mandatory for all students in a Teacher Education Program. This is a 1.5 hour workshop. It is offered in many sections each semester. You will attend one session.
