Wellness and Alternative Medicine: Curriculum

The wellness and alternative medicine (WAM) academic curriculum includes courses in the behavioral, health and physical sciences. All WAM majors take core courses in sociology, anthropology and psychology that focus on approaches to and understandings of health and healing from scientific, historical and cross-cultural perspectives. Courses in biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, nutrition and research methods are also required.
