Non-Traditional Student Services
Johnson State College has a very diverse campus population which includes traditional and non-traditional students. Academic Support Services recognizes that not all students follow the traditional route from high school directly to college. Therefore, we provide a variety of support services to students taking the non-traditional road to higher education.
Non-traditional students are usually 25 years of age or older and have either never attended college or have taken a break in their formal education. We recognize the difficult hurdles that come with being a non-traditional student. You may have the desire to attend college but not know where to start. You may feel that you don’t have enough time to juggle work, a family and your education. You might also have concerns about how to finance a college education. Whatever your concerns, know that we are here to help you make informed decisions.
Academic Support Services provides excellent support and information to all non-traditional students.

- Sources of financial aid
- On-campus housing
