Learning Styles/Developmental Phases
The following links contain information about learning styles (Kolb) and developmental phases (Perry) that can describe how traditional age and adult learners view and process knowledge.
David Kolb has developed a learning styles model which illustrates the strengths and preferences students use as they acquire, organize, retrieve, and apply information.
William Perry has posited a theory of intellectual development consisting of phases students move through regarding how they perceive knowledge and see themselves in relation to it.
