F. Reed Brown
F. Reed Brown is an actor, director and choreographer currently based in northern Vermont. He is a visiting professor in theater at Johnson State College for the 2006-2007 academic year.
The co-founder of the Ozark Actors Theatre, an Equity theatre located at the University of Missouri-Rolla, he directed and/or designer over 60 productions during his 14 years as artistic director there.
Brown has spent the past two summers with the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, and has worked regularly with Vermont's Bread and Puppet Theatre. He has worked with a wide variety of theater companies in New York as well.
He holds a master of fine arts degree from Illinois State University, and a bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida. He has spent much of his professional career on the road with his touring productions.
